Testimony

Today on the Revival News hear the wonderful testimony of CLI student Jackie Miller and how she came to study at Christian Leaders Institute. WATCH THE REVIVAL NEWS NOW! Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. 2 Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. Hebrews 13:1-2 (NIV) You might have met an angel already without realizing it. That is an interesting thought, isn't it? How are you treating your new co-worker or your new neighbor? Are you and your friends welcoming to strangers? Showing hospitality comes up multiple times in the New Testament. When I came across this verse today, it got me thinking about what does it really mean to be hospitable. Especially when we think about who knows who God will put into our lives to show hospitality toward. It could even be an angel! The definition of hospitality is the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors,...

Knowing the love of God

The love of God Scripture told us, if we know nor God, we know not love. God is love, he can’t stop loving. He is the great love that we all need to live in love, peace, and joy. Walking in love is the most important thing to do, love is the fulfillment, because God is love. We can know to love by receiving Christ in our hearts as Lord and Savior, he will lead us to walk in love. We really can’t love without knowing God’s love for us and that’s through Christ. If you have not received Christ has Lord and Savior, let it be today, receive him, and accept his perfect love for you. John 3:16- For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Let’s love and share that wonderful love that God is. Love you all

Knowing the word of God

Welcome 2019! Happy New Year!!! I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays! I, for one, am exhausted! LOL On top of the holidays, the end of December also comes with birthdays for two of my teenage daughters!! While I enjoyed the holidays immensely, I am really happy to be getting back to life as normal! There are some exciting things happening for our family this year and I cannot wait to share each of them with you when the time is right!! My Word for 2019 One of the things I see a lot of people doing is choosing a word for the new year! I chose the word "rest". I have anxiety and I have a tendency to not only worry but to try to handle things and fix them! I need to learn to just rest in the knowledge that God has it all under control and I can just breathe and not feel I have to deal with everything and strive to fix everything and I don't need to worry about things that haven't even happened yet (imaginings!!) As I mentioned in December's Newsletter I am ...

Knowing the word of God

Happy First Motivational Monday of 2019! With the beginning of a new year upon us, all of our minds on what this year will bring. What are your goals and dreams for 2019? How is God leading you this year? Yesterday, we heard a message on getting your mind in the right spot for 2019. Don't let this year be another year that just goes by and you don't accomplish the goals you have. Take responsibility for your time, for your actions and for your mind! Your life is moving in the direction of what your strongest thought is! Our minds are battlefields and the devil is telling us lies about who we are and what 2019 will be for us. Identify what is a stronghold in your life right now and leave that stronghold in 2018! Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2 We pray that this year your mind is renewed in Christ Jesus as you pursue your calling and studies at CLI! We leave you with these two truths today as we go i...

Knowing the word of God

*Good morning and happy Saturday!* *Who God Rewards* *TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:* _And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him..._ *(Hebrews 11:6, NIV)* *TODAY'S WORD:* When God is first place in your life, and you make pleasing Him your highest priority, then you can fully expect to live a blessed, fulfilled life! In today’s verse, notice who God rewards. It’s not people who half-heartedly seek Him. It doesn’t say “people who only think about Him when they’re having a problem;” or “people who will only come to church when something special is going on.” No, God rewards people who earnestly seek after Him. That means we are determined. We get up every morning and thank Him for His goodness. We go through the day meditating on His promises. We give Him praise in the good times and the tough times. We are constantly stretching, g...
