Understanding God the love

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish but have everlasting life.

God perfect love for us, is the only reason why we are here today. Out of his pure love, he gave up his son (Jesus) for us all. Jesus died and resurrected that we might have life, and have life more abundantly. God's wondeful love for us, his children, will never change, he will love us forever.

There is nothing which we can do to stop Gods concern for us, it's out of his perfect love. We can always count on him to see us through. He never leaves not forsakes.

1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

1 John 3:1 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

Pray this prayer and receive Jesus in your hearts today.

Jesus I thank you for the finished works of the cross, I thank you for loving me. I receive you as Lord and savior in my heart today. Amen
