Knowing the word of God

2 Corinthians 5:12
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.

Living in Christ Jesus let us walk in the newness of life. Everything that we do, and the way we think towards life, will change in his Holy presence.

The reflections of our daily walk must show the greater him in us. Things we used to do, we must see ourselves not wanting to do them anymore. We must turn away from all things that are not of God. The Bible tells us "that the world is an enmity to God".  This means we should love not the things of the world even though we are living in it.

The Bible tells us, "that we are the light of the world, and the salt of the earth".
As Christ followers we are the examples in this world, therefore; we have to live a life of love, peace, joy, forgiveness, and have compassion for one another. We all need to let our inner man lead us, which is our spirit. We have to walk in the Spirit as we should live in it. Remember we are living in Christ Jeaus.

Mattew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father, which is in heaven.

Amen

Walking with Jesus I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour in August 2016. When this journey just began, I was not where I needed to be, I was still doing a lot of things that had me being disobedient to God. I didn’t understood much of the bible, I was in a place where I know I needed help, and I felt that going to church would make everything okay right away, I never knew it would have a been a learning process. I was in and out of jobs, I was lonely, unhappy, bitter, confused, a culprit and basically lawless. I was really broken, I needed a strong foundation, a needed love, I needed peace, and I needed to know who I was. At this point of my life, I really wanted to come home. I had no money saved, was living in a house where a shared utilities and bathroom. My Bill’s where paid by the help of family and whatever assignments I would get to do. I was a Certified Nursing Assistant at the time. God knew my heart, he knew I wanted to go home, because it was a desire of...

Jesus the Lord thy God; where would we be without saving grace? Grace is the reason why we are here, God's unmerited favor of love that has no end. Do you believe that God's promises will come true? Do you believe that he loves you? Do you want to know him as you should? Grace is the reason why we have the opportunity to live in God. Lets' rest in this truth; what Jesus did on the cross made us free from the bondage of the flesh. He was crucified in the flesh to justify the sinner through his spirit. (He died in the flesh and rose in the spirit). "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:" (1 Peter 3:18). If you would love to receive Christ as your Lord and Savior, pray this prayer. Jesus, I thank you for taking my place on the cross. I believe in the finished works of the cross and I accept you in my heart today as my Lord and Savior.

The goodness of God gave us life and hope. Where would we be without the goodness of God? His goodness place us before him; he took no thought for his life when he laid it done to death for us. "Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren" (1 John 3:16). The goodness of our God is the only reason we are here on this day; his unmerited favor of love towards us was before we entered this world. "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:" (Ephesians 1:4). God's goodness will never run out, it is everlasting as he is. Let's focus on his goodness always and give thanks.
