Knowing the word of God

1 John 4:13

Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

God is living in us through his Spirit. We are one in the spirit. God word is spirit and life, the living bread, the breathe of life he is. God is to be glorified at all times, we ount to be thankful at all times.

2 Thessalonians 5:18- in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Being thankful in all your circumstances is a way of telling God that I trust you totally, you are my hope for all I do, I know you are with me, and I will get through this. God loves us very much, His love is amazing, faithful, never ending, ever sure, and is the foundation for all things. God love is the fulfillment of his commandment. The Second commandment is to love thy neighbor as thyself, but is as greater as the first, love thy God with all your soul, heart, mind, and might.

We are to be obedient to God at all times, walking in God’s will and purpose, is the reason we were created. Our purpose difine our daily life here on earth, our life here on earth is about the Kingdom of God, as scripture said, repent for the Kingdom is at hand. What ever we do with our life on earth will determine the outcome at the end of it all. We need to live a life in Christ Jesus, accepting the gift of salvation and pursuing the purpose of serving the Kingdom of God, we all have a place in the kingdom, but it’s up to us to let go our will, and choose God’s will. Remember that the kingdom of God starts with love, joy, peace, and righteousness in the Holy Spirit.

2 Thessalonians 5:19- quench not the Spirit.

We need the Holy Spirit each step of the way. The Holy Spirit, leads us, guides us, comforts us, and work on our behalf in times of infirmities. We have to submit ourselves to God completely, we can’t be serving God, and mammons, we can only serve one master. We are servants to whom we obey, if we live a life of sin, we are serving the devil, when we live a life of obedience in the word, we are serving God.

Jehovah is the one true God, he is the love and truth. If you are not yet serving him, get to know him, he is waiting for you.

Let’s remember to love today as if there is no tomorrow.

Walking with Jesus I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour in August 2016. When this journey just began, I was not where I needed to be, I was still doing a lot of things that had me being disobedient to God. I didn’t understood much of the bible, I was in a place where I know I needed help, and I felt that going to church would make everything okay right away, I never knew it would have a been a learning process. I was in and out of jobs, I was lonely, unhappy, bitter, confused, a culprit and basically lawless. I was really broken, I needed a strong foundation, a needed love, I needed peace, and I needed to know who I was. At this point of my life, I really wanted to come home. I had no money saved, was living in a house where a shared utilities and bathroom. My Bill’s where paid by the help of family and whatever assignments I would get to do. I was a Certified Nursing Assistant at the time. God knew my heart, he knew I wanted to go home, because it was a desire of...

Jesus the Lord thy God; where would we be without saving grace? Grace is the reason why we are here, God's unmerited favor of love that has no end. Do you believe that God's promises will come true? Do you believe that he loves you? Do you want to know him as you should? Grace is the reason why we have the opportunity to live in God. Lets' rest in this truth; what Jesus did on the cross made us free from the bondage of the flesh. He was crucified in the flesh to justify the sinner through his spirit. (He died in the flesh and rose in the spirit). "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:" (1 Peter 3:18). If you would love to receive Christ as your Lord and Savior, pray this prayer. Jesus, I thank you for taking my place on the cross. I believe in the finished works of the cross and I accept you in my heart today as my Lord and Savior.

The goodness of God gave us life and hope. Where would we be without the goodness of God? His goodness place us before him; he took no thought for his life when he laid it done to death for us. "Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren" (1 John 3:16). The goodness of our God is the only reason we are here on this day; his unmerited favor of love towards us was before we entered this world. "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:" (Ephesians 1:4). God's goodness will never run out, it is everlasting as he is. Let's focus on his goodness always and give thanks.
