Knowing the word of God.

Galatians 5:1

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and he not entangled again with the yoke bondage.

Christ died, buried, and resurrected for us to be freed from all sin. We ount to keep ourselves from being entangled in the boundage of sin again. We ount to walk in the liberty which God had given unto us through Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour.

Matthew 6:24 –No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God
and mammon.

We can’t live a life of sin, and say we love God. To love God is to know him, and be obedient to him, which is serving him. Living a life of sin is all unrighteousness.

We are God’s children, and he only wants the best for us, living a disobedient life is not being in the will, and purpose of God. God is a good Father, he loved us before we loved him. He gave is only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God gave us free will to choose life or death. Choosing to serve God gives us everlasting life, the choice to live in sin, is death. We can’t live in sin, and expect to see Gods Kingdom, we have to be righteous has he had made us in Christ. Therefore, we must accept Christ has Lord and Saviour, by repenting of all sins, baptize in Jesus name, and receive the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 4:17- From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Acts 2:38-“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Walking with Jesus I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour in August 2016. When this journey just began, I was not where I needed to be, I was still doing a lot of things that had me being disobedient to God. I didn’t understood much of the bible, I was in a place where I know I needed help, and I felt that going to church would make everything okay right away, I never knew it would have a been a learning process. I was in and out of jobs, I was lonely, unhappy, bitter, confused, a culprit and basically lawless. I was really broken, I needed a strong foundation, a needed love, I needed peace, and I needed to know who I was. At this point of my life, I really wanted to come home. I had no money saved, was living in a house where a shared utilities and bathroom. My Bill’s where paid by the help of family and whatever assignments I would get to do. I was a Certified Nursing Assistant at the time. God knew my heart, he knew I wanted to go home, because it was a desire of...

Jesus the Lord thy God; where would we be without saving grace? Grace is the reason why we are here, God's unmerited favor of love that has no end. Do you believe that God's promises will come true? Do you believe that he loves you? Do you want to know him as you should? Grace is the reason why we have the opportunity to live in God. Lets' rest in this truth; what Jesus did on the cross made us free from the bondage of the flesh. He was crucified in the flesh to justify the sinner through his spirit. (He died in the flesh and rose in the spirit). "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:" (1 Peter 3:18). If you would love to receive Christ as your Lord and Savior, pray this prayer. Jesus, I thank you for taking my place on the cross. I believe in the finished works of the cross and I accept you in my heart today as my Lord and Savior.

The goodness of God gave us life and hope. Where would we be without the goodness of God? His goodness place us before him; he took no thought for his life when he laid it done to death for us. "Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren" (1 John 3:16). The goodness of our God is the only reason we are here on this day; his unmerited favor of love towards us was before we entered this world. "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:" (Ephesians 1:4). God's goodness will never run out, it is everlasting as he is. Let's focus on his goodness always and give thanks.
