Knowing the word of God

I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.  As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters.  As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.  He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.  Stay me with flagons, comfort me with apples: for I am sick of love.  His left hand is under my head, and his right hand doth embrace me.  I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.  The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills.  My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice.  My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.  For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;  The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;  The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.  O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.  Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.  My beloved is mine, and I am his: he feedeth among the lilies.  Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.

Walking with Jesus I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour in August 2016. When this journey just began, I was not where I needed to be, I was still doing a lot of things that had me being disobedient to God. I didn’t understood much of the bible, I was in a place where I know I needed help, and I felt that going to church would make everything okay right away, I never knew it would have a been a learning process. I was in and out of jobs, I was lonely, unhappy, bitter, confused, a culprit and basically lawless. I was really broken, I needed a strong foundation, a needed love, I needed peace, and I needed to know who I was. At this point of my life, I really wanted to come home. I had no money saved, was living in a house where a shared utilities and bathroom. My Bill’s where paid by the help of family and whatever assignments I would get to do. I was a Certified Nursing Assistant at the time. God knew my heart, he knew I wanted to go home, because it was a desire of...

Jesus the Lord thy God; where would we be without saving grace? Grace is the reason why we are here, God's unmerited favor of love that has no end. Do you believe that God's promises will come true? Do you believe that he loves you? Do you want to know him as you should? Grace is the reason why we have the opportunity to live in God. Lets' rest in this truth; what Jesus did on the cross made us free from the bondage of the flesh. He was crucified in the flesh to justify the sinner through his spirit. (He died in the flesh and rose in the spirit). "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:" (1 Peter 3:18). If you would love to receive Christ as your Lord and Savior, pray this prayer. Jesus, I thank you for taking my place on the cross. I believe in the finished works of the cross and I accept you in my heart today as my Lord and Savior.

The goodness of God gave us life and hope. Where would we be without the goodness of God? His goodness place us before him; he took no thought for his life when he laid it done to death for us. "Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren" (1 John 3:16). The goodness of our God is the only reason we are here on this day; his unmerited favor of love towards us was before we entered this world. "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:" (Ephesians 1:4). God's goodness will never run out, it is everlasting as he is. Let's focus on his goodness always and give thanks.
