Knowing the word of God

Romans 1:16 -For I am not ashame of the gosple of christ : for it is the power of God unto salvation for all those that beleive; to the jews first and then the gentile.

The gosple of christ, reveals the gift of salvation. The gift of salvation is God's promise to all the heirs of Abraham, who believe on Christ. Romans 10:17- faith cometh by hearing, and by hearing the word of God.

Hearing the word of God reveals God truth, which is manifested through the gosple of Christ. The truth sets us free. knowing the truth is believing in the heart and trusting in all that christ hath done for us on the cross.

There is only one way to receive this gift of salvation and it's accepting Jesus by believing in the heart that he is lord and savior.

Pray this prayer to receive Jesus as lord and savior; I thank you Jesus for the finished works of the cross and for your love. I receive you as Lord and savior in my heart today. Amen

Walking with Jesus I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour in August 2016. When this journey just began, I was not where I needed to be, I was still doing a lot of things that had me being disobedient to God. I didn’t understood much of the bible, I was in a place where I know I needed help, and I felt that going to church would make everything okay right away, I never knew it would have a been a learning process. I was in and out of jobs, I was lonely, unhappy, bitter, confused, a culprit and basically lawless. I was really broken, I needed a strong foundation, a needed love, I needed peace, and I needed to know who I was. At this point of my life, I really wanted to come home. I had no money saved, was living in a house where a shared utilities and bathroom. My Bill’s where paid by the help of family and whatever assignments I would get to do. Jesus the Lord thy God; where would we be without saving grace? Grace is the reason why we are here, God's unmerited favor of love that has no end. Do you believe that God's promises will come true? Do you believe that he loves you? Do you want to know him as you should? Grace is the reason why we have the opportunity to live in God. Lets' rest in this truth; what Jesus did on the cross made us free from the bondage of the flesh. He was crucified in the flesh to justify the sinner through his spirit. (He died in the flesh and rose in the spirit). "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:" (1 Peter 3:18). If you would love to receive Christ as your Lord and Savior, pray this prayer. Jesus, I thank you for taking my place on the cross. I believe in the finished works of the cross and I accept you in my heart today as my Lord and Savior.
