Daily Devotion

Good morning in the precious name of Jesus.

"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory" (Timothy 3:16 KJV).

Jesus preached the Kingdom to the Jews ( as it is written repent for the Kingdom is at Hand) He was referring to Himself who came to earth to save mankind. Christ was the manifestation of God. Jesus bore our sins on the cross ( He died, buried and was resurrected in three days). Jesus died in the flesh and rose in the Spirit and gave us a life in him. He was later preached to the gentiles as the gift of salvation by His ministers. (This is the gospel of Christ).

Receive Jesus as Lord and Savior today in your hearts.

Prayer: Heavenly Father we give you the glory, honor and praise. I thank you for your perfect love, joy, peace, unity, family, and comfort. Thank you for the finished works of the cross. We thank you for blessing us with you. Thank you for touching hearts today and for waking us up this morning. Amen

Walking with Jesus I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour in August 2016. When this journey just began, I was not where I needed to be, I was still doing a lot of things that had me being disobedient to God. I didn’t understood much of the bible, I was in a place where I know I needed help, and I felt that going to church would make everything okay right away, I never knew it would have a been a learning process. I was in and out of jobs, I was lonely, unhappy, bitter, confused, a culprit and basically lawless. I was really broken, I needed a strong foundation, a needed love, I needed peace, and I needed to know who I was. At this point of my life, I really wanted to come home. I had no money saved, was living in a house where a shared utilities and bathroom. My Bill’s where paid by the help of family and whatever assignments I would get to do. Jesus the Lord thy God; where would we be without saving grace? Grace is the reason why we are here, God's unmerited favor of love that has no end. Do you believe that God's promises will come true? Do you believe that he loves you? Do you want to know him as you should? Grace is the reason why we have the opportunity to live in God. Lets' rest in this truth; what Jesus did on the cross made us free from the bondage of the flesh. He was crucified in the flesh to justify the sinner through his spirit. (He died in the flesh and rose in the spirit). "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:" (1 Peter 3:18). If you would love to receive Christ as your Lord and Savior, pray this prayer. Jesus, I thank you for taking my place on the cross. I believe in the finished works of the cross and I accept you in my heart today as my Lord and Savior.
