Daily Devotion

We have to believe in our hearts that we are the righteousness of God. Jesus made it all possible through the cross; we are fully righteous in Christ Jesus. We are no longer who we used to be: we are changed into the nature of God, we must know who we are, our identity in Christ is very important. Understanding our identity in Him makes a lot of difference. From the moment you receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, you have become the righteousness of God in Christ. “For he hath made him be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).



If you have not received Jesus as Lord and Savior, let it be today. Pray this prayer of faith: I thank you, Jesus, for the finished works of the cross, I thank you for life today, and I receive you in my heart as Lord and Savior. Amen

Walking with Jesus I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour in August 2016. When this journey just began, I was not where I needed to be, I was still doing a lot of things that had me being disobedient to God. I didn’t understood much of the bible, I was in a place where I know I needed help, and I felt that going to church would make everything okay right away, I never knew it would have a been a learning process. I was in and out of jobs, I was lonely, unhappy, bitter, confused, a culprit and basically lawless. I was really broken, I needed a strong foundation, a needed love, I needed peace, and I needed to know who I was. At this point of my life, I really wanted to come home. I had no money saved, was living in a house where a shared utilities and bathroom. My Bill’s where paid by the help of family and whatever assignments I would get to do. Jesus the Lord thy God; where would we be without saving grace? Grace is the reason why we are here, God's unmerited favor of love that has no end. Do you believe that God's promises will come true? Do you believe that he loves you? Do you want to know him as you should? Grace is the reason why we have the opportunity to live in God. Lets' rest in this truth; what Jesus did on the cross made us free from the bondage of the flesh. He was crucified in the flesh to justify the sinner through his spirit. (He died in the flesh and rose in the spirit). "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:" (1 Peter 3:18). If you would love to receive Christ as your Lord and Savior, pray this prayer. Jesus, I thank you for taking my place on the cross. I believe in the finished works of the cross and I accept you in my heart today as my Lord and Savior.
