Where would we be without Jesus? Such an important question but how would many answer? Jesus came to earth for one reason and it was to redeem humanity from the sinful nature. He died and rose so that we would live unto God through him. He made us as he his by giving us his nature which is holiness and righteousness.” For he hath made him be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (King James Bible,1769/2017, 2 Corinthians 5:21). Without Jesus every soul would be in hell. He defeated death on the cross for us and gave us eternity. Many might ask, why people still die? The truth is eternity doesn’t mean living forever on earth but having everlasting life in Christ which means you will live forever with him in heaven whether you die before he returns or not. Can a person be free from sin by doing good deeds? Can a person be free from sin by just going to Church? Can a person be free from sin by praying and acknowledging God? None of these things can make you a righteous man, only accepting Christ as Lord and Savior will set you free from a sinful nature. Going to Church, praying and acknowledging God, and doing good deeds are wonderful to do but one must be in Christ to live the life ordained by God.

If you would love to receive Christ as your Lord and Savior today, pray this prayer of repentance. Jesus, thank you for loving me and taking my place on the cross. I accept you as my Lord and Savior in my heart today. Amen

Walking with Jesus I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour in August 2016. When this journey just began, I was not where I needed to be, I was still doing a lot of things that had me being disobedient to God. I didn’t understood much of the bible, I was in a place where I know I needed help, and I felt that going to church would make everything okay right away, I never knew it would have a been a learning process. I was in and out of jobs, I was lonely, unhappy, bitter, confused, a culprit and basically lawless. I was really broken, I needed a strong foundation, a needed love, I needed peace, and I needed to know who I was. At this point of my life, I really wanted to come home. I had no money saved, was living in a house where a shared utilities and bathroom. My Bill’s where paid by the help of family and whatever assignments I would get to do. I was a Certified Nursing Assistant at the time. God knew my heart, he knew I wanted to go home, because it was a desire of...

Jesus the Lord thy God; where would we be without saving grace? Grace is the reason why we are here, God's unmerited favor of love that has no end. Do you believe that God's promises will come true? Do you believe that he loves you? Do you want to know him as you should? Grace is the reason why we have the opportunity to live in God. Lets' rest in this truth; what Jesus did on the cross made us free from the bondage of the flesh. He was crucified in the flesh to justify the sinner through his spirit. (He died in the flesh and rose in the spirit). "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:" (1 Peter 3:18). If you would love to receive Christ as your Lord and Savior, pray this prayer. Jesus, I thank you for taking my place on the cross. I believe in the finished works of the cross and I accept you in my heart today as my Lord and Savior.

The goodness of God gave us life and hope. Where would we be without the goodness of God? His goodness place us before him; he took no thought for his life when he laid it done to death for us. "Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren" (1 John 3:16). The goodness of our God is the only reason we are here on this day; his unmerited favor of love towards us was before we entered this world. "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:" (Ephesians 1:4). God's goodness will never run out, it is everlasting as he is. Let's focus on his goodness always and give thanks.
